Chisago County Commissioner Mike Robinson Refuses Comment on Stalking Incident
The Epitaph posed the following questions to Chisago County Commissioner Micheal Dean Robinson of Rush City, Minnesota:
Dear Sir:
A report received from the Forest Lake Police Department indicates that you harassed and made terrorist threats against Lora Walker and her family. The Police report dated November 20, 2007 indicates the incident occurred at Cub Foods in Forest Lake.
You have made similar terrorist threats to Commissioner Montzka, Mark Oberg, Bob Carter and myself.
Sheriff Rivard was part and parcel to your harassment of myself at the Commissioner Candidate's Forum at the Swedish Village Inn in August of 2008.
I am curious, sir as to how you could have known Ms. Walker would be shopping at Cub Foods at that exact moment in time?
Would surveillance video indicate that you were shopping for a turkey?
Did you wait days on end, lurking about Cub Foods waiting for Ms. Walker? or did Chisago County Sheriff Todd Rivard determine Ms. Walker's itinerary by listening in on her cell phone conversations and relay that information to you?
Was the purpose of your harassment to dissuade Ms. Walker from seeking election to Lynn Schultz's seat on the County Board?
It is my personal opinion that Sheriff Rivard is "covering up" a drunk driving infraction for you, based on your refusal to answer previous questions that I have submitted and further based on Rivard's unconvincing denial when I posed the same question to him.
Certainly, I would like to hear your side of the story.

So if this did indeed happen, I would like to know why charges weren't filed. Sounds kind of suspicious to me...
I have asked that same question of Sheriff Todd Rivard and County Attorney Janet Reiter. I can't for the life of me, figure out why they don't respond.

No need to give them a call. I can tell you why they don't respond. Forest Lake is in Washington County. Todd and Janet are in Chisago County. Therefore, they have no say in what happens with this alleged "incident" since their jurisdiction covers Chisago County and events and incidents that occur within its borders.
Perhaps there actually was no "incident". Perhaps Commissioner Walker called the police, alleged that she was harassed by Commissioner Robinson, thus causing a report of the "incident" to be made. Then after routine police work conducted by the FOREST LAKE POLICE DEPARTMENT, not the Chisago County Sheriff's Office or Attorney's Office, there was no evidence indicating that this so called "incident of harassment" even occurred, thus leaving the case with nowhere to go and thus dropped.
This seems to be a much more logical sequence of events than if this "incident" actually happened. You would think that if Commissioner Robinson was such a bad guy and this did truly happen, charges would have been filed, and Commissioner Walker would have seen the case through to the end to hopefully end what you and she claim to be such harassment, and not to mention punish someone who you seem to loathe so much.
Your theory still dies not explain what Robinson was doing at Cub. You assert that Walker made up the whole thing. If so, Lynn why doesn't Mike enlighten us to what really happened.
I have felt the brunt of bullying and intimidation by you, Mike and Todd. The fact that you choose to use these Nazi tactics tactics is dispicable and bares credence to the Forest Lake Police Department report.
Todd denies a 911 call to Chisago County, yet phone records indicate that Walker did call 911 about that time. More cover up by Todd for Mike?
The real issue is why Rivard continually covers for Robinson and you. What does he have "over on you,"

Either way, Mike needs to come clean and answer the question.
First off, who's Lynn?
Secondly, why would a 911 call made in one county go to another county? Listen to yourself. Think about it. Lets get over your diarrhea of the mouth for a minute. The fine people of the Forest Lake Police Department are not run by the Chisago County Sheriff's Office. What part of that don't you understand?
Lastly, perhaps Commissioner Robinson was grocery shopping at the Cub store because, oh I don't know, he was buying food? It turns out that people actually do go to Cub stores to buy food. You people are not so important that everyone mysteriously follows you around. There is no rule that says people can only shop in the city in which they live.
WAKE UP! Have a pleasant day.
Heck if I needed Robinson's vote for my new jail, I may not write a police report either. Dah!

Lynn, it is you! You are back. Welcome. It is indeed good to hear from you. As Mike Robinson's only "friend" willing to stick up for him, you raise some monstrously inept points.
Obviously, at least two 911 calls were made. One to Forest Lake, of which there is record, and one to Chisago County where the records mysteriously disappeared.
Now, if you are accusing Ms. Walker, whose integrity is above reproach, of filing a false police report, perhaps you should identify yourself and make such assertions public.
Anyway, how are things going for you and Mike these days? Are you still able to meet in Cambridge?
So now that there will be no new jail, would you say that Todd will arrest Mike ASAP?
Not likely. The question now becomes "Who has whom by the testicles?"
If Rivard is covering up for Robinson, he is now just as guilty as Robinson.
Robinson retains his "get out of jail free card." in my humble opinion
why would someone call the cops more than once and the call not go to the same place?
